Wild Horse Mesa Bar

This is just a little teaser of a mini series I'm working on....

As always, it was sloshed around in caffenol for development.
Ilford Delta 100.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I'm looking forward to what you come up with.
After failing to find any "Wild Horse Mesa" on the maps I decided the bar may have gotten its name from the Zane Gray novel which was turned into a couple of films. I tried to elicit some info on the place at the local convenience store, but the proprietor was not interested in communicating about the topic.

  2. Thanks Mike!
This place is over near Mesita on the old section of Route 66 just off the interstate on the south side. I'm going back in a few days if you want to meet up out there.

  3. Sorry I didn't check back to read your reply earlier.
I've been out there a couple times. Shot once with my Dolly Supersport and again with the Brownie Hawkeye Flash. Didn't really do justice to the subject either time. You made a better choice and got better results with the pinhole and caffenol.
